Case Study on Amazon Store Redesign

Amazon Store Home Page Redesign Increases Sales 224% by Over $10,000/Month for a Home Lighting and Decor Brand

River of Goods is a sourcing and product development company that offers unique lighting products, home furnishings and décor accents.

Revenue from their Amazon store was dismal due to its layout lacking consistent branding and strategy, and marketing not focused on conversion.

This prevented the conversion rate (CVR) and sales from increasing by double and triple digits.

Nectar’s graphic design team rebuilt the store from the ground up.

First, Nectar’s designers created a clean and modern design with a strong color palette, texture, branded headers, typefaces, and a clean typeface hierarchy.

After establishing a strong aesthetic, the team reorganized the store’s navigation menus and layout, and also added marketing panels throughout the site.

Lastly, the team improved the function and marketing of the store by creating more categories and subcategories and added top-selling products to each page.

After thirty days, monthly sales increased 33% for the store and 224% for the home page.

The home page monthly sales rose from 4 figures to 5 figures and increased by over $10,000. In addition, the conversion rate (CVR) increased 29% for the store and 147% for the home.

One can argue that the sales and conversion rate changes on the home page are extremely important.

These fantastic results from home page redesign was achieved through years of experience and great design based on fact finding, data, and a clear marketing strategy.
