Nothing left for Amazon to rewrite

Brand, flavour, size and pack are read from your report columns, never parsed out of the old title.

"16-Ounce Bags (Pack of 2)" compacts to "2×16 Oz" before anything is cut. Differentiators go last.

Fills to 72 of 75 where supported terms exist, and stops short rather than padding. This one stopped at 70.

The field is new, so it is empty on nearly every listing, including the ones already under 75 characters.

Every claim traces to a bullet or attribute in your own copy, and the workbook records which one.

Thin source copy yields a short Highlight, never an invented one. Empty reads "No source copy", not PASS.

Ranked by overage severity, worst first, because that is how hard Amazon's own rewrite will hit each listing.

Supply revenue figures and it re-ranks by revenue against severity instead.

Push the whole catalog in one pass, or split it into waves so no single rewrite pattern lands everywhere at once.

The workbook is checked against your input file by a separate pass, so validation is never self-reported.

Duplicate ASINs and a missing current title are the only two blockers. Anything else missing lowers a score instead.

Lengths and validation are live formulas, so they update as a reviewer edits in Sheets or Excel.

75

Effective July 27, 2026

125

14

Days to review each batch before Amazon's AI rewrite goes live

Per batch, through 2026

On real catalogs we audited, the non-compliant ASINs carried about three times their share of revenue, because long titles live on best sellers.

What You Get

Instant Catalog Diagnostic

How many ASINs are over, your longest title, your worst offenders, in minutes.

Compliant Titles That Keep What Matters

Brand, variant, size and pack survive. Siblings stay uniform across each parent family.

Item Highlights for Every ASIN

The new field is empty on compliant listings too. Every claim traces to your own copy, nothing invented.

A Rollout Plan, Not a Dump

A severity-ranked work queue, so you can push the whole catalog at once or roll it out in waves.

How It Works

01

Download One Report You Already Have

Sellers: the Category Listings Report. Vendors: the Retail Analytics catalog export. The tool includes exact click-paths for both.

02

Load the Tool into the AI You Use

It runs a guided session on whichever platform you already use, asks a few questions, and scans your catalog.

03

Run the Whole Catalog, or Sample It First

Take it in one pass, or review 25 titles, set your house style, and let the tool carry it through. Upload back to Amazon through the same report you downloaded.

Your data never leaves your own AI session. The tool never asks for Amazon credentials.

Questions, Answered

What Exactly Did Amazon Change About Product Titles in 2026?

+

Amazon capped product titles at 75 characters for all non-media categories, effective July 27, 2026. The old limits ran far longer, often 200 characters, so most catalogs were written against a standard that no longer applies. Any title over 75 characters is now non-compliant and eligible for Amazon's own AI rewrite.

What Is the Item Highlights Field?

+

Item Highlights is a new 125-character field that displays directly beneath the title on both desktop and mobile, starting August 10, 2026. Because it is new, it is empty on virtually every listing, including listings that already meet the 75-character limit. It is the space where the detail you cut from the title can still reach the shopper.

What Happens If I Do Nothing?

+

Amazon is rewriting non-compliant titles with its own AI through 2026, in batches, with a 14-day review window for each batch. If you do not act within that window, the machine-written title goes live and becomes what shoppers see. The rewrite is not aware of your brand vocabulary, your variation structure, or which keywords earn your rank.

What Do I Need to Run the Tool?

+

An account with Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity or Grok, free or paid, and one report you already have access to. Sellers use the Category Listings Report from Seller Central. Vendors use the catalog exports from Vendor Central. A plain list of ASINs and titles also works if that is all you can pull.

Does the Tool Need My Amazon Login?

+

No, never. There are no integrations, no API keys, and no credentials of any kind. You upload a report into your own AI session, and the work happens there.

Does It Work for Vendor Central?

+

Yes. The tool reads the Vendor Central catalog exports, including the Retail Analytics catalog export and the bulk item spreadsheet. We built it against a 16,700-ASIN 1P apparel catalog, so large vendor files are the expected case rather than the edge case.

Is It Really Free?

+

Yes. No trial, no card, no seat limit. We are an agency, and some of you will want help with the rollout. That is the whole business model.

How Do the New Titles Get Back on Amazon?

+

Sellers re-upload the same Category Listings Report they downloaded, and changes typically apply in about eight hours. Vendors submit through the bulk item spreadsheet. The tool returns your titles in the same shape as the file you gave it, so there is no manual retyping.
